The Secretary General said he is aware that many people harbour the aspiration of leading the party, but said this is not the time and when the time comes they will talk about politics.
“Our party is very democratic and we will be ready to listen to as many members who have aspiration to lead the party. We will give them all the opportunity they need, but for now we are yet to reach that bridge, when we reach that bridge then we will do what we have to cross it safely.”
Alhaji Osman Yansaneh said they have just lost an illustrious comrade in the person of Moseray Fadika and they are in mourning and they want the entire membership to mourn with the family and not be talking politics.
He called on all party stalwarts to support the PRP so that it will be successful. Most of the project that are being implemented he said needs to be monitored and all of them should work in their different communities to make sure that all the projects are fully implemented and accounted for.
He thanked the President and government for putting together such a successful hajj and hope that the 800 plus who are performing the Haj will pray for the president, his government and the entire country to continue to be peaceful and successful launch of the PRP.
