The All People’s Congress (APC) Party has threatened to reshuffle its membership at the Party’s 2026 delegates’ conference, one that will see the expulsion of many of its prominent members from the Party.

This was, according to the Chairman of the Western Area Rural District Council (WARD-C), Kasho Joseph Holland Cole, who further revealed that Alfred Peter Conteh, along with Hon. Mohamed Bangura and Hon. Alfred Thompson, no longer represent the interests of the APC Party.

Chairman Kasho Joseph Holland Cole said, “Their actions have betrayed the principles and values of the party. They would have long been expelled, but our constitution makes it clear that members can only be expelled at a delegates’ conference. Only through that process, and proper consultations, does the chairman have the power to take such action.”

According to him, Alfred Peter Conteh is not recognised as a legitimate member of the APC, despite public claims to the contrary, alleging that Peter Conteh has ignored several calls by the Party for engagements.

“The APC is a structured institution governed by clear rules and regulations. Any individual found to violate these rules will be shown the exit door without hesitation”.
