The visit was to inform IPAM students about the AYV Miss University competition and to unveil the grand prize car worth over fifty million Leones.

IPAM is the first university to enjoy such privilege, which was also to encourage students with the criteria and academic prowess to take the lead in competing at the Miss AYV University pageant.

AYV Miss Sierra Leone is one of the most talked about beauty pageants in the history of Sierra Leone involving contestants from various universities across the country. The Miss AYV University pageant which is held every year since 2011 has been a life-changing platform for many young female students.

Meanwhile, the six contestants prepping for the upcoming Miss IPAM 2019, also stand a chance to win the Miss AYV University 2019 star prize; a Toyota corolla car worth more than fifty million Leones.

President of IPAM Students’ Union, Alpha Kabba however, confidently told AYV that IPAM will emerge winner. According to him, IPAM has been at the forefront of delivering competent beauty queens.

The Director of Events and Entertainment who doubles as Deputy Director of News and Current Affairs at AYV, Phebian Swill made it clear that application forms for Miss AYV University 2019 have been paid for fully by the CEO of Africa Young Voices Media Empire, Ambassador Anthony Navo Junior and so the forms are now free of charge.

She urged interested participants to rush now and make use of the opportunity because the winner apart from the grand prize ultimately qualifies for the Miss University Africa pageant with a monthly stipend until the end of her reign.

This year’s AYV Miss University is set to take place on 20th December. Contestants from various universities would first have to go through the audition which takes place on Saturday 29th November at the AYV Media Empire. Submissions close the same day.
