Foreigners attended the event from all around the world and within China, including AYV’S Hurai Bangurah who was invited to Beijing, China on behalf of the Africa Young Voices Media Empire to witness the classic event.

The event was organized by the CEO and Founder of the Queenak Foundation, Mrs Ada Yang (Sierra Leonean) and her husband, Yang Yan (Chinese) who is a famous Chinese Artist (painter) in China. In an exclusive interview in their home, Mr & Mrs Yan both attributed that their love (ai) for one another is what started this event four years ago.

It was filled with different booths from different countries like South Africa, Sierra Leone, Ethiopia, Cuba, Kenya, China and Mexico.

The event hosted hundreds of guests and every booth at the event offered something intriguing and different depending on the country of origin; ranging from food, wine, clothing (traditional wear), sculptures and Art & Craft.

The famous Chinese Artist (painter) Mr. Yang Yan graced the event with his artistic skills, where he was then offered $160,000 (1,000,000 RMB) for the car he painted on, but humbly rejected the offer as he wanted to give it to the Sierra Leonean Ambassador as a memento for the embassy.

The event was also attended by many dignitaries including, The Ambassador of Sierra Leone to China, Mr Alimamy Philip Koroma and his Deputy Mrs. Kumba Momoh.

“A lot of faces from all races” quoted by the MC of the event MC Freddie Friday. Filled with love, laughter and Fun, the event also featured and showcased a fashion show of traditional wear from 23 different countries. Africa Young Voices brings you some amazing highlights of the beautiful and inspirational show.
