“I approached Bollore company to help my community as we want to build a mosque. I presented the proposal to them and today they have presented building materials worth more than fifteen million Leones to assist us,’’ he said, adding that he is very grateful to the company for helping them even though it is not part of their thematic goal to build mosques.

He urged residents to support him in his developmental drive and to also support and protect the interests of the company.

Bollore Transport and Logistics Manager Bertrand Kerguelen on his part said he met the Seaside Community Chairman, when he came to present a proposal for the company to help his community construct a mosque, adding that after several months of negotiation the company decided to help in the construction of the mosque.

The donated items include 200 bags of cement and one ton iron rods.

The Bollore Manager further stated that they have been helping residents in their area of operation since they commenced work in the country, adding that everyone is free to come to the company to ask for help, but that they should come with proposals that benefit the people.

“Don’t come to me for money, if you come to me my door will be closed. But if you come to me for development to help the community, my door will always be open,” he said.

Imam of Masjeed Raheem, Sheik Alhaji Muctarr Renner thanked the chairman for his swift intervention and blessed Bollore Transport and Logistics for their kind gesture.

Imam Renner encouraged other people to help his community, especially with the building project, and prayed for unity for the betterment of the Seaside Community.
