He said robbers have been attacking people along dark roads, especially those dropped off by okada riders, adding that in most times, the robbers pretend as if they are car wash boys to execute their evil acts.

Samuel said on most dark roads within the community, the bobbers are in the habit of hanging around surveillancing people who they suspect of having money and/or properties in their possession.

Quite recently, residents say an Okada rider took a passenger from Kingharmann road (OSD Lodge) for his residence at Hill Cut Road but unfortunately, on their way, the rider diverted to a dark route where robbers attacked them and carted away with the passenger’s money and belonging worth millions of leones.

Residents are therefore now calling on security authorities, especially the Sierra Leone Police to strengthen their presence, especially night patrol in the community.
