Certain traditional practices are better restricted for the proper upbringing of the child. Organising a fair for the child and showcasing the practice of cannibalism is unheard of to say the least. Children are to be brought up in safe and healthy environment and not in environment where they could inculcate bad and very harmful practices.

Allowing the tradition of chopping off tongues, slicing of skins with razor blades and removing of eyes among others in the nutrition fair is worrisome and scary.

Is that a Health fair Or blood fair?

Is chopping off human parts and spilling blood in the presence of very young children and well respected foreign health workers and organizations like WHO among others called Health fair?

 

Many of those of foreign health experts condemned what they referred to as ‘unaccepted foolish traditional practice’ which saw children leaving the Fair in terrific mood.
