The sustainability index according to Marcella Samba Sesay is a document that looks at the development of an organization that is conducted in 34 countries across the world with support from USAID. She added that Campaign for Good Governance is among and that they are responsible for conducting the Sierra Leone report.

Mrs. Sesay further said that, the report looks at the health of CSOs to across seven dimensions that involve advocacy, legal environment, infrastructure and organizational capacity across the seven dimensions.

“This report is an annual report where we test the health of COS, look at the environment CSOs work in the different countries,” she said, adding that the report will serve as an early warning system to inform academics and donors if challenges occur.
