According to Mr. Bangura, the UDM as a party is very disturbed over the war of calumny between the Attorney General, Franklyn Bai Kargbo and Charles Francis Margai.

“Mr. Charles Margai manifestly demonstrates his insincerity by claiming that he discussed with the President on issue of incompetence of the Attorney General when evidently he has failed to have a closed door meeting with the President for almost two years,” the UDM leader stated in a press release issued on Tuesday 18th August 2015.

He claimed that Mr. Margai attempted to undermine the All Political Parties Association (APPA) under his leadership on the issue of the former Vice President, Alhaji Sam Sumana. “He lonely among all other political parties including the SLPP objected to a planned meeting with the former Vice President on the basis of him being under quarantine at the time. The same message we got from the former VP when APPA approached him on the issue,” Mohamed Bangura said

He furthered that mentioning the name of the late F.M Carew is disrespect for the dead and considered an immoral act by Mr. Margai, while adding that it is absurd for him to make reference to the dead in such manner.

“Most importantly, Mr. Margai should behave like an elderly statesman if he is to be called so. With all his experience in law and politics. “He should know better that respect is earned”, The Leader and Chairman charged in his press release.
