In an effort to ensure MDAs deliver on top priority areas within their sectors, the Office of the Chief Minister convened ministers, senior government officials, technical heads, and implementing agencies to identify priority deliverables, establish clear implementation timelines, and address bottlenecks affecting delivery between September 2026 and August 2027.
Organised by the Office of the Chief Minister at State House on 10th August 2026, the clinic provided a platform for collaboration and accountability.
During this engagement, MAFS presented a consolidated 12month delivery agenda aligned with the objectives of Feed Salone. This gave MAFS the opportunity to highlight major infrastructure investments, production initiatives, national agricultural systems, and institutional reforms within a single resultsfocused framework.
The clinic emphasized accountability, clear objectives, timelines, responsible persons, and resources required to complete interventions within the set period. MAFS requested stronger government support to address implementation challenges, including financing, procurement, customs and logistics, contractor performance, and interagency coordination.
Participation by the Ministries of Finance, Planning and Economic Development, the Cabinet Secretariat, and the National Monitoring and Evaluation Agency supported coordinated decisionmaking and strengthened the framework for monitoring agreed commitments.
MAFS’ participation reaffirmed its commitment to accelerating implementation, moving priority investments into operation, and ensuring that agricultural programmes produce measurable benefits for farmers, women, young people, and agribusinesses across Sierra Leone.
