He measured that most road works are done by the Chinese companies which has greatly contributed in building our cordial friendship between the two countries.

The Minister stated that this project would be properly monitored by his Ministry and Engineers from the Sierra Leone Roads Authority (S.L.R.A) in order to make sure that we get value for money.

Giving some of the specification of this road, the S.L.R.A Director General Amara Kanneh made mention that this road will be of 3.1 kilometres and the duration will take a period of two years.

Mr Kanneh revealed that the cost for the said road will amounted to Ten Million United State Dollars($10 M) and is expected to have 1.5 metre shoulder on both sides.

The Formal launch of this project is expected to be done side by side with the Juba bridge by H. E President Julius Mada Bio with a colourful ceremony to be held at Juba in Freetown.
