Sierra Leone’s Minister of Communications, Technology and Innovation, Salima Monorma Bah, has shed light on the contribution of the country to the global digital cooperation.

She maintained that, on the AI and DPI’s Sierra Leone is a proud co-founding member of the digital public alliance and that in 2018, the NIDS that pioneered the concept of country-as-AI-lab was launched, adding that the country played a key role in leading in the global conversations on digital cooperation and emerging technologies.

“On AI and DPI’s- Sierra Leone is a proud co-founding member of the digital public goods alliance and in 2018 we launched NIDS which pioneered the concept of country-as-AI-Lab. Sierra Leone has been leading in global conversations on digital cooperation and emerging technologies” she stated.
