“Our company has always thought highly of social services,” he said, noting that in the past 10 years they have donated over $300,000 worth of assistance in various forms to surrounding communities, schools and orphanages.

“During the Ebola epidemic and mud-slide disasters our company undertook its obligation and responsibility to rescue victims through food and non-food donations,” he said.

WAOMC according to Wang is responsible for the operation and management of the Wellington-Masiaka Highway.

Mr. Wang added that, the donation would be far-reaching like a seed which will grow into a big tree to give shade to all. He maintained that they will still stick to similar donations in the future.

Receiving the donation on behalf of the community Hon. John Sattie Kargbo of Constituency 111 commended the Chinese Ambassador and the CRSG Company for the donations to the community, adding that it is a milestone in the history of their community since the inception of democracy in Sierra Leone.
