The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Management of the Africa Young Voices (AYV) Media Empire has appointed Mamaja Jalloh, widely known as D.J Base as the Company’s new Compliance and Enforcement Director.
He reports directly to the CEO of AYV, Ambassador Anthony Navo Jr. and the new office is an added assignment to his currently role in the Company as Presenter for the ‘Back To Base’ and the ‘Hot Seat’ TV Shows.
As Compliance and Enforcement Director, D.J Base is responsible to ensure that all staff, volunteers and interns working for the Company, comply with all relevant laws and regulations, as well as enforcing the Company’s Policies and Procedures.
Mamaja Jalloh is a popular radio Disc Jockey in Sierra Leone who’s worked for years to make people aware of issues that affect their lives—from protecting women from sexual assault to the misappropriation of government funds.
He has served as a highly respected advocate of youth issues and the voice of many other underprivileged masses in Sierra Leone.
Born on 7th October, 1972, in Wilberforce, Freetown, DJ Base attended the Wilberforce Primary School and later proceeded to the Sierra Leone Grammar School where he sat for the G.C.E. O’Levels.
