Madam Kamara is the founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Disabled International Foundation Sierra Leone (DIFSIL).

Expressing happiness for the Awards; Madam Kamara states: “What a beautiful honour to be awarded at the British House of Parliament for being a humanitarian. I was selected out of 7356 nominees, what a blessing this is”

She dedicated the award to all the people that are going through difficulties in their lives from poverty to homeless and starvation; while thanking the Host Alamara Katrina Awan and all the organisners of the Awards.

The Award recognises an individual or organisation that has worked towards change in their local community in the UK, encouraging and enabling others to do the same.

If you have made a difference in your community or helped to promote democracy, you will be nominated for an award. Big or small, it could be in your local community, online or in your school.
