The fine opposition politician was welcomed by huge crowd of residents and visitors of the above communities as he reached the people with his Thank You Tour.
Comrade Dr. Samura Kamara as he is fondly called was welcomed by party members, youth, supporters, sympathizers and senior citizens Constituency 122 with drums and assorted musical instruments; and placards bearing sweet words of courage and honour for the politician almost 2 years after he lost the presidency to His Excellency President Dr. Julius Maada Bio and the Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP).
It can be recalled that lately, a good number of the APC party support base is describing Dr. Samura Kamara as a unifier who stands tall in uniting the party and keeping the peace after being defeated by the SLPP and now in opposition.
Many hold the view that Dr. Samura Kamara is the only politician and party member who has the capability to bring to a peace table, party stakeholders and the grassroots.
Addressing the youth, religious leaders, market women, party executives among other listeners at the Constituency, the energetic politician thanked former President Ernest Bai Koroma and all others who gave him the opportunity to lead the APC to the polls in 2018.
He expressed overwhelming satisfaction with the welcome he was accorded within the Constituency and called on all to believe in the APC for the betterment of Sierra Leone.
He called on all comrades to emulate the moves and initiatives of the party’s Chairman and Leader Ernest Bai Koroma and compliment the party’s agenda after the 2018 general elections.
