After destroying the chances of the runner-up team in the said league table; that is currently with 41 points, out of twenty six games played, with the last one being on 29th June 2019, East End Lions looks good to emerge champions.

It was an encounter described by spectators as a match of two equals considering the abilities of the young talented players.

The fireworks match was well-attended by people from all walks of life including the President of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA), Madam Isha Johansen and other dignitaries at the jam-packed Siaka Stevens Stadium in Freetown.

Fans cheered their respective teams; East End Lions FC dresses in their routine red and white striped jerseys dominated Kallon FC dressed in their blue and white outfits.

A cross-section of spectators of both teams confirmed to AYV Sports in excited moods that, the match was very entertaining; dotted with outstanding performance.

“Honestly, we appreciate the peaceful atmosphere unto the outcome of the match which the right out winger of East End Lions F.C Alhassan Koroma separated the two sides in the forty seventh minute and ninety seven seconds just after the break in the second half of play, when he deprived three FC Kallon players from the right out middle field and smashed the ball right into the back of the net in grand style,” said one mesmerized spectator, explaining further that they appreciate the outcome of the match.

The match saw a total of two yellow cards; one on the side of Sierra Leone Premier League giants East End Lions FC in the first half of play; while the second yellow card went to Kallon FC also in the second half.

Meanwhile, four players were substituted; two from FC Kallon and two from East End Lions FC.
