As the holy month of Ramadan is a time of giving and sharing, the University has its mandate and corporate social responsibilities, which includes teaching, research and community service among other services.

Beneficiaries of these food items were Muslim Jamat, student Muslim jamats, and Paramount Chiefs of the district.

According to the beneficiary groups, this is the first art of fulfilling one of the pillars of Islam, thus reckoning with and the decision of the University leadership as thoughtful, based on existing relationship between the institution and these communities.

They expressed gratitude in appreciation for such a kind gesture and prayed that EBKUST will continue to transform lives not only in Sierra Leone but the world at large, they offered prayers and made a commitment to spread the good news far and wide.
