According to the Public Relations Officer of the Sierra Leone Judiciary, Moses Kamara, the purpose of the visit was to commend the leadership of the Judiciary for the expeditious way and manner in which it has and continues to adjudicate and dispose of election-related matters brought to the court.

He informed Africa Young Voices (AYV) that the African Union, the Economic Community of West African States and international observers also commended the Chief Justice, Hon. Justice Abdulai Charm and the entire leadership of the Sierra Leone Judiciary for fast-tracking both criminal and civil matters for determination by the courts in various parts of the country.

The international observer mission team further prevailed on the Chief Justice and the Judiciary to continue its expeditious trend of adjudicating cases in the name of fair play, justice and democracy.
