Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Founder of the Africa Young Voices (AYV) Media Empire, Ambassador Anthony Navo Jr. addressing AYV staff, journalists, fellows and election stringers on elections preparedness said: “We are not taking sides. We are a media house. We serve Sierra Leone…”, while urging everyone to be impartial, report credible news and follow the AYV Editorial Policy.

Amb. Navo Jr., said: “At AYV, we are globally known for giving out credible, balanced and factual news to our audience. I am admonishing you all not to take sides before, during and after the elections. We must remain independent at all times. We are a professional media house. We should all know that we are serving not ourselves but our country, Sierra Leone”.

The CEO expressed satisfaction that all his staff are doing masterpiece job for the Company, adding that their efforts have made Sierra Leone to now be among the few countries in West Africa to be onboarded by the DSTv through AYV on DSTv Channel 399.

Counting some of the Company’s latest achievements in 2022 on to 2023, CEO Navo Jr said the Company was able to successfully launch the Salone Decides project to give voice to stakeholders of the 2023 general elections, successful hosted the Housemates Salone Season 3, and signs MoU with the BBC, VOA and Trace Naija among other achievements.

“I am proud of you all for making it happen. You can now be in other West African countries watching Sierra Leone through AYV on DSTv Channel 399. I am proud of AYV’s development.” CEO Navo Jr said, while encouraging all staff to work for humanity and believe in the mission and vision of promoting the young people of Sierra Leone.

He said currently, the Company has strengthened and technologically empowered its USA, London and Ghana branches and all its regional bureaus across Sierra Leone.

In addition, the CEO said the Company has launched the AYV Academy aimed to groom young people to fit into the job market.
