The spotlight shone brightly on Sierra Leone on December 10th, a day specifically designated to evaluate the strides made by nations in the agricultural sector.

The Ministry’s report underscored the country’s noteworthy contributions, with a particular focus on the commendable Feed Salone programme. This initiative has not only demonstrated the nation’s commitment to food security but has also showcased a model approach that has garnered appreciation on the international stage.

Sierra Leone’s recognition in the report reflects a strategic and well implemented agricultural framework that addresses crucial aspects of food production and distribution.

The Feed Salone programme, in particular, has been instrumental in achieving sustainable and resilient food systems, aligning with global goals and best practices.
