During her visit, the first lady was taken on a conducted tour of the Empire’s facilities, led by the Managing Director (MD) and senior management staff.
Welcoming the first lady into the Empire’s campus, the MD of AYV Dr. Ezekiel Kalvin Duramany-Lakkoh thanked the first lady for visiting the Empire. He expressed the importance of her visit, while also expressing how much pride it brings to the CEO, management and staff of the Empire.
Dr. Duramany-Lakkoh explained further to the first lady on AYV before, now and in the future, focusing on its bid to continue ruling the media landscape of Sierra Leone positively.
He concluded by assuring the first lady on behalf of the CEO, management and staff of AYV that the Empire will one hundred percent support the ‘Hands Off The Girl’ campaign and will be providing a live television coverage for its launch few days from now.
Responding, Mrs. Fatima Jabie Bio thanked AYV for such a glamorous welcome accorded her on her first visit to the Empire. She also thanked AYV for being the first media institution to declare support to her ‘Hands Off The Girl’ campaign and further congratulated the CEO of the Empire for such a multi-million dollars investment in the country’s media landscape.
