A resident, Paul John Bangura said he has been residing at the Ogoo Farm Community for over fifteen years and he has never witnessed anything related to flooding especially in New Jersey-Ogoo farm, adding that they are afar off the gutters in the main highway.

He further explained that it was the force of the water that eventually collapsed his fence and the swiftness of the water rushed into his immediate neighbor house and ripped the precious lives away from the innocent children.

An eye witness, Abubakarr Lebbie said the water level was too high, as they were not expecting anything related to flooding when they ultimately witnessed a heavy downpour of rains that washed away the zinc house and claimed the lives of the kids.

“The water was really uncontrollable, and I was unable to swim into the water at that time.” He added.

Youth around the community immediately instituted a rescue team which eventually discovered the remains of the two children.
