Sierra Leone’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Alhaji Musa Timothy Kabba, has met with His Excellency President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev of Kazakhstan as Special Envoy of His Excellency Julius Maada Bio, Chairman of the Authority of Heads of State and Government of ECOWAS and President of Sierra Leone.
Minister Kabba said, “I conveyed fraternal greetings from President Bio and the People of Sierra Leone to HE Tokayev and the People of Kazakhstan. We recommitted strengthening our bilateral relations- underscorin the strategic geographical and geopolitical advantages of Kazakhstan, the biggest Economy in Central Asia”.
He said President Tokayev congratulated President Bio on his current Chairmanship of the ECOWAS Authority and expressed optimism in his leadership in strengthening democratic governance and economic integration in the community, while noting Sierra Leone’s remarkable contributions to global peace and security and its efforts toward UN Security Council reform.
