Opposition Leader Hon. Abdul Kargbo has confirmed that former President Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma has returned to Nigeria after attending the ECOWAS Mid-Year Summit held in Lungi.
According to Kargbo, the former President travelled back to Nigeria following his participation in the high-level regional meeting, which brought together Heads of State and Government from across West Africa.
Dr. Koroma attended the summit as a guest of President Dr. Julius Maada Bio, marking his presence at one of the region’s most significant diplomatic gatherings.
His attendance drew public attention, with many Sierra Leoneans viewing it as a notable moment during the ECOWAS Summit hosted by Sierra Leone.
