He also took the opportunity on behalf of his Chairman on Works to express thanks and appreciation to President Koroma, noting that in the first half of the Ebola epidemic in 2014, through the wisdom of President Koroma, he took the right decisions to keep the country in one piece while fighting a fatal disease.
He also noted that as a responsible Government the Ebola outbreak did not did not stop the ongoing developmental activities in the country despite the multifarious challenges that the disease posed.
He disclosed that Government has awarded contracts for the Mattru Jong road, Moyamba, Shenge road, Pujuhun-Gbondopi road, Moyamba Junction township road, the Moyamba Bridge and the two lane Magbela Bridge.
He stated that the bidding process has now commenced for the Pendenbu Kalahun road while contracts have been awarded for the widening of the Wellington Masiaka Highway to a four lane.
Hon. Tamba E. Ebba also disclosed that 40 kilometres of feeder roads will also be constructed in Constituencies 012 and 013 in the Kenema District as rehabilitation and maintenance of rural feeder roads and township roads are also been done in all the nineteen Local Government areas.
He also stated that the Government will also continue the rehabilitation of the Kenema Pendenbu roads, the Tokeh Lumley, the Makeni Kabala roads, as well as the Matotoka, Sefadu road project and the Hill Side Bye Pass Road as well as continue in the rehabilitation of roads in Moyamba, Bonthe, Mattru Jong as well as Pujehun, construct the Sewa Bridge, Bandajuma bridge and the Moa Bandajuma bridge.
He reiterated that these projects will be solely funded from local resources including the construction of the Tagrin-Lungi, Kanakry Dee project, and the rehabilitation of the Western Rural District roads in the Waterloo township, the rehabilitation of Mile 88 Yoni Bana- Mile 91 road project, the Makeni, Kabala roads several other areas.

Francis Kowa of Constituency 107 in the Western Urban Area, Hon. Lahai Marrah of Constituency 045 in the Kanadugu District, Hon. Rosaline Jariatu Smith of Constituency 103 in Western Urban Area, the Deputy Speaker, Hon. Chernor R.M. Bah of Constituency 110 in the Western Urban Area, and Hon. Abdul Salaam Kanu of Constituency 101 in the Western Urban Area.
