Hundreds of Commercial Bike Riders yesterday stormed the AYV Media Empire complaining about alleged Police harassment, extortion and arrests in the Central Business District.

One of the angry riders told this medium that for close to a week now, police personnel have been harassing them on the streets of Freetown, extorting bribes from them and that if they fail to pay the bribes, they are arrested and jailed.

However, police personnel who spoke to this reporter denied accusations of extortion and harassment made by the bike riders.

They say all they do is an operation to ensure the business of bike riding across the country, especially within the Central Business District.
