Outgoing Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Alhaji Musa Timothy Kabba, has welcomed his successor, Mohamed Rahman Swarray, following President Julius Maada Bio’s latest ministerial appointments.
In a message reflecting on his time in office, Kabbaexpressed gratitude to President Bio for giving him the opportunity to serve the nation, while also thanking those who supported him throughout his tenure.
“I have run a great race,” Kabba said, as he reflected on his service to Sierra Leone.
In a social media post, the outgoing Minister said he was “truly grateful and indebted to everyone who genuinely supported my achievements.”
Kabba also extended his best wishes to his successor, describing Swarray as his “dear elder brother” and congratulating him on his new role.
“Best wishes to my dear elder brother; Hon. Rahman Swarray in his new role,” he stated.
Swarray has been appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation as part of President Bio’s latest changes to key government positions.
