AYV Miss University 2023/2024: Meet Matilda Kamara, Contestant From IPAM

Born on February 1, 2001 in Moyamba, Matilda Kamara...

This morning, I met with my brother Idris Elba who visited us at the Africa Young Voices Media Empire (AYV).

Idris Elba is a Sierra Leonean-British Born Hollywood Superstar, a recipient of the Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE).

I shared with him the history, passion, and mission of establishing the AYV Media Empire and the need to engage and provide a platform for our present and future generations in the Africa continent (a journey that started in our beautiful Sierra Leone).

We did a conducted tour of our state-of-the-art broadcasting house, studios and other facilities.

I am pleased that Idris took his time out to come to visit me and my team today and his impression of our work.

We both had a candid and in-depth exchange of views on issues of strategic importance for Sierra Leone and on major global and regional development efforts.

Idris and I share the same vision of promoting Africa through the media, arts, and entertainment. I am looking forward to more collaboration and working with him to achieve our common dreams and shared vision.

Thanks for the visit, bro.

God bless Sierra Leone, Africa and our world.
