The two main traditional parties in the country Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) and the All People’s Party (APC) are still taking the lead in the campaigns process, despite efforts made by National Grand Coalition (NGC) and the Coalition For Change (C4C), whose intention is to change the political landscape and history in  the country.

As the campaign for the presidential election enters it last two month, there are increasing complaints of abusive languages, violence activities, intimidations among others  are some of the issues affecting the electorate and even  politicians from their opponent especially form the SLPP and APC.

One strong and prominent supporter of the main opposition Sierra Leone Peoples Party named Niakeh Sheriff  has severally been accused of attacking people especially women during the campaign.

He has being threatening people around that “If they come into governance he will persecute whoever is in support of the incumbent APC”.

He actually uses tribal and regional basis in his campaigning ,preaching racism to supporters in the south-east  and region whom are mainly mendes.

Citizens whom come from other regions and tribes are now running away fearing the attack from the opposition party thugs lead by Niakeh Sheriff.

However,we are urging the police force to take drastic action against such people disturbing the peace   in this coming election come 7th March 2018.
