This is according to the Secretary General of the Sierra Leone Football Association, Chris Kamara, who was addressing residents yesterday Wednesday 24th September, 2019 at the Kenema City field during the training session of Kamboi Eagles.
Upon his arrival, the scribe called on the Chairman of Kenema District Football Association (KDFA), Denis Ngoto Lansana and explained to him the urgency of the work and the need to start it effective immediately. The project will comprise the perimeter fence, a medical house and floodlight around the field.
While speaking to football loving fans at the City’s field, Chris Kamara unfolded some good plans that SLFA under the Presidency of Madam Isha Johansson has for Kenema district.
He further revealed that President Johansson has reaffirmed her position that she will ensure that Kenema gets one of the best artificial turfs any one could have.
Mr. Kamara also took an extensive tour around the football facility with the fans that were present and assured them that the work will commence in two weeks.
This news was welcomed with broad smiles on the faces of people present and great optimism while they await the fulfillment of the promise.
