Despite the dispute between Emmanuel Pessima and the Sierra Leone Cricket Association, the lad was able to represent Sierra Leone as a special guest in the tournament in Greece. According to Pessima, his club was invited to participate in the tournament but because of the lack of financial support ‘’my club wasn’t able to participate in the tournament, ‘‘I was really sad watching teams and schools all over the world participating and my own club wasn’t there’’ he said.

Emmanuel further stated that he will be meeting with clubs, schools, and organizations to support cricket in Sierra Leone ‘’I will try to attract more people to support Kent cricket club and others in the country, and I will make sure I sell the image of Sierra Leone as a unique cricket nation, so that philanthropist in Hellenic and the world at large will partner with us to develop and promote cricket in the entire country” he said.

Emmanuel further extends his appreciation to his sponsors, online business communications, Sierra Leone Premier Internet Services provider, Hellenic Federation, Ministry of Sports, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Sierra Leone High Commission in Abuja ,Nigeria.

Pessima will be in Freetown 21 May 2016.
