He said “I respect my Brother Mohamed Foday Yumkella’s decision to endorse one of my opponents, and I urge all my supporters to respect his choice. This is what democracy is about. We must go beyond tribe, regional and other parochial considerations and make a free choice.”

The above quoted statement from Dr. Kandeh Kolleh Yumkella lends credence to the fact that he is a respecter of persons; a decent and civilized politician to say the least.

Speaking to a ruling politician who prefers anonymity on the media hype and KKY’s statement had this to say: “I wonder why such a simple endorsement was blown out of proportion and cooked up in a way to portray a negative picture of Dr. Kandeh,”she queried and furthered “But Dr. Kandeh Yumkella’s statement proves them wrong-all of them.”

Like the song goes “…they trying their best to stop our progress with bad propaganda all in the foreign press…but if a man steal a mango or breeze blow up a woman’s dress…,” so will they continue to prankvertise KKY but to no avail!
