Also in attendant is the Resident Minister, North Hon. Ali D. Kamara who was invited as Guest Speaker in the meeting.

In his welcome address, the host Paramount Chief Gbaru Mansaray III of Wara Wara Yagala chiefdom, Koinadugu district said the meeting was timely as it gears towards informing all and sundry about the development projects being implemented by the ruling All Peoples Congress Party in both Koinadugu and Falaba districts.

He further reiterated that the two districts will continue to give unflinching supports to the development activities implemented by the government especially the 261 Kilometer road project that has given a face value not only in Kabala but the two districts at large.

PC Alhaji Sheku Finakalay Marah V of Delmadugu chiefdom, Falaba district commented that it is only one that is myopic and narrow minded in thinking that is not acknowledging the tremendous work of the present government. He went on to say that Koinadugu district especially the district headquarter town of Kabala used to be the worst in terms of infrastructure development, but the Dr. Earnest Bai Koroma led government has given a face lift to a district once described as a fourth world  district.

Another traditional leader that was very much vocal about government’s development activities in the two districts is the Paramount Chief of Dembelia Sinkronia chiefdom Alhaji Alimamy Lahai V. He pointed out that since his childhood in the early 50s, he had not opportune to enjoy many social amenities as tarred roads, street light and water facility. But since APC came into governance ten years ago all the promises made by His Excellency Earnest Bai Koroma have been achieved not only in Koinadugu and Falaba districts, but the country in its entirety.

The paramount chief also commented the tremendous work of the local road construction company – Pavi Fort which according to him the entity is doing more than required in terms of meting its cooperate social responsibilities and meanwhile working towards the stipulated time frame of the project especially within Kabala. PC Lahai therefore called on sons and daughters of the two sister districts to give unwavering supports to the development activities undertaken by President Koroma so that, the districts will continue to be envy of attraction.

Honorable Ali D. Kamara reinstates government’s developmental supports to the people of Sierra Leone especially Koinadugu and Falaba Districts which he said, are the second homes for President Koroma. He assured traditional leaders that northing will discontinue the development projects in the two districts after the party’s overwhelming victory in March, 2018. The resident minister called on the traditional leaders to stay focus and maintain the peace so that the victory of the party will be celebrated in serenity.

To the road construction company in the two districts, Ali D. Kamara stated that the chief executive officer is indeed demonstrating his patriotic tendency or mindset in building his country. He went on to speak about the invaluable contributions of the company in constructing feeder roads and erecting permanent structures like local courts and among others.

Almost all the stakeholders present promised fervently to support the APC development agenda especially in rebranding Koinadugu and Falaba districts.
