He further said that due to poor drainage; which system is mostly filled with dirt, the community suffers from flooding during the rains. He used the opportunity to appeal to the next government to ensure that they construct a wide of drainages in the community to save them from their current predicament.

Chief Pa-Alimamy also noted that the next government should also ensure that the bridge linking the community must be widened and that the next government must also build retaining walls to prevent flooding.

Chief Pa Alimamy went on to say that the reason why they love Kroobay is because the community is at the center of the capital city Freetown.

The Community Health Officer (CHO) at Kroobay, Michael Kanneh appealed to the next government to improve on environmental health at Kroobay community. He added that there are no dustbins in the community and very few public toilets.
