The Sierra Leone Police and the Transnational Organised Crime Unit (TOCU) representative carried out an intelligence-led operation in Goderich, resulting in the seizure of 3 barrels and 3 cartons containing dried leaves suspected to be Kush in Freetown. All exhibits have been recovered, secured, and are pending laboratory analysis.

Two barrels were recovered from a Serena vehicle, registration ALA-080, driven by Yussif Sesay. One barrel was recovered from a Toyota taxi, registration API-156, at Adonkia Cemetery, Goderich. The three cartons of suspected Kush were recovered from a residential property near the cemetery, allegedly owned by Patricia, who is currently evading arrest.
During questioning, Yussif Sesay alleged that Abdul Rahman Sesay contracted him to transport the barrels. Both Yussif Sesay and Abdul Rahman Sesay have been apprehended. The taxi driver linked to the Toyota vehicle is still at large, and efforts to locate and apprehend him are ongoing.
The operation represents a major disruption to drug trafficking in the Freetown West Region and demonstrates the commitment of the command to tackling drug-related crime.
