According to the MPs, his style of parliamentary leadership is unique and exemplary.  Based on the fact that he had acquired manifold experiences in public and diplomatic arena and has always provided professional guidance in ensuring that parliament operates in tangent with best practice.

Apart from the just ended debate he said since Hon. S B B Dumbuya ascended to the pinnacle of Sierra Leone Leone’s Parliament, they have learnt a lots about parliamentary proceedings and that his educative and philosophical responses had catapulted many of them to excels and competently represent Sierra Leone’s Parliament at various international parliamentary meetings and conferences.

In his response, Hon, Sheku Badara Dumbuya thanked his colleagues parliamentarians for recognizing his hard work, independence and relentless efforts towards organizing and providing a lively and educative atmosphere for competitive debates on bills, motions, and other issues brought to the well of the house for ratifications.

 He maintained that, he could not have succeeded in providing the required leadership in parliament without the support and cooperation of his colleagues members of Parliament. He further stated that he is not only Speaker for the ruling party but also for the opposition, while assuring his colleagues that  he would continued in such direction.
