Fatima Bio, the lady with both brain and brawn, cannot be said to be only the perfect 1st Lady of this nation but she is an inspiration to majority of the populace especially to the girl children and women and parents of girl children.

This became evident during an investigation of a sexual penetration case at Tonko Limba chiefdom in the Kambia district north of Sierra Leone, as the impact of what Mrs Fatima Bio has been doing for this country came out explicitly and many gratitude were expressed to her by the police and those connected with the survivor.

Tonko Limba was a place where, before the advent of Mrs Fatima Bio, girl children who have been wronged by perverts who have tampered with them, were blamed for putting themselves at the wrong place at the wrong time and some were even forced to marry their perpetrators who were mostly dirty old men.

But things have since changed all because of the inspiration of one woman called Fatima Bio who singlehandedly has brought civilization to a place that was once in abject darkness.

Since Fatima Bio, Sierra Leone has seen the light and now parents are proffering education for their girl children over bride prices.

In those parts and all over this nation, the beacon of Fatima Bio shines very brightly.

Girl children are now dashing for university instead of being condemned to the kitchen forever.

A 19 years old woman who lives along the Bo/Mattru highway spoke to this press in sadness saying that if Mrs Fatima Bio had come earlier she could never have left school to get married to a man she never even love.

She explained that it was four years back when she was just 15 years old that she was forced into early sex by an Okada rider who later proposed marriage.

The woman now wants to return to school and enter university because, according to her, her parents are now protecting her younger sisters with the determination that they will all finish university.

Like the advents of Prophets of old, Mrs Fatima Bio has put Sierra Leone on a pedestal that is enviable to the whole world.

New Zealand has been inspired by the project of Mrs Fatima Bio which gives free sanitary pads to school going children.
