Ahead of the 76th session of the Executive Committee of the High Commissioner’s programme (ExCom) convened by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), the Commissioner of the National Commission for Social Action (NaCSA), Ambassador Ernest Mbaimba Ndomahina, has arrived in Geneva, Switzerland, to participate in this global event of exceptional significance for refugees across the world.
The forum, scheduled to take place from October 6th to 10th, 2025, will bring together intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations to discuss and address key issues related to the international protection of refugees and other humanitarian matters under the mandate of the UNHCR.
The Sierra Leonean delegation will engage in discussions aimed at reinforcing global support for refugees, building on the country’s pledge at last year’s forum to tackle the numerous challenges facing refugees worldwide.
Accompanying Commissioner Ambassador Ndomahina is Mr. Farama Joseph Bangura, Regional Coordinator, National Commission for Social Action (NaCSA).
Commissioner for NaCSA, Ambassador Ndomahina and his team were warmly received by the Mission upon their arrival at Geneva International Airport.
