It could be recalled that society is demanding a greater degree of connectivity between citizens, business, financial institutions and governments that crosses political and cultural boundaries.
The Deputy Director of Communication Mohamed Jalloh said the workshop is aimed at working on drafting of cyber legislation for the combating of cyber crime in the country.
“Currently, one of the difficulties the Judiciary is facing is how to prosecute cyber crime when there is a definitive cyber legislation,” Jalloh said, adding that the outcome of the workshop will see the drafting of a cyber legislation to charge cyber crime suspects in the country.
