Salone Trump was speaking on Radio Democracy FM 98.1 in the early hours of yesterday 21st February, 2018. According to him, he had presented all required documentations to the Political Parties Registration Commission (PPRC) and the National Electoral Commission (NEC) for him to be approved and endorsed as the PDP 2018 presidential candidate but that both institutions have deliberately refused to print his name on the ballot papers.

He went on to say he was shocked to see that the PPRC and NEC omitted his name and picture from the ballot paper which according to him, sends a negative message out to voters of the 2018 elections against his credibility to run as presidential candidate.

Salone Trump repeatedly emphasized that if things continue this way and PPRC and NEC refuse to add his name and photo on the ballot box, there will be no elections come March as according to him, he has got millions of Sierra Leoneans ready to protest the conduct of the elections on polling day on his behalf.
