They confessed that they were among the hooligans who tried to stop Alhaji Dr. Kandeh Kolleh Yumkella from entering the Sierra Leone People’s Party Freetown Headquarters in August 2015 when he was seeking the party’s nomination.

They apologized for their wrong doing against the aspirant, stressing that they have realized that he is best connected in the world to transform their lives.

It could be recalled that Dr. Kandeh Yumkella mentioned the ordeals he suffered together with his mother in the hands of these youth in August 2015 and this was part of the reasons he suspended his presidential bid under the party.

Welcoming the young men, Global Youth Ambassador – KKY Movement, Mohamed Jah assured the youth that Dr. Yumkella has long forgiven them and that by extension, even the movement has also forgiven the.

The youth ambassador further encouraged other youth to feel free to join the Movement. He said Dr. Yumkella is an internationally acclaimed development expert who is in the country to rescue young people.

The event was climaxed with celebration.
