The graduants according to the Program Manager of Develop Africa Sierra Leone, Abu Stephen Conteh are those people that were affected by the flood and mudslide disasters in the country.

According to Mr. Conteh the event is the closing ceremony of computer training intervention which they embarked upon few months ago for people affected by the mudslide and flood to be computer literate.

“We started from basic introduction, because some of the students in the initial stage did not know the different parts of the computer, right through to internet access,” Conteh said; adding that they can now boast of completing the course in MS Word, Excel, Publisher, Power Point, Internet among others.

Develop Africa Sierra Leone according to Conteh focuses on enhancing the skills of youths in the country, adding that, they signed-up for a training partnership with Cudoo; an online training program in USA for the students after initial computer training.

Mr. Conteh disclosed that the local program started last May and that the Cudoo program started in January and is still on for students that are interested.
