Police further alleged that the accused diverted from the United Bank of Africa six billion, five hundred and forty million, four hundred and eighty one thousand, three hundred and fifty three leones into the account number of a certain Mohamed Marah and shared the said among themselves.

When the accused made their first appearance before, Magistrate Santigie Bangura of court No.1 last week, Lawyers representing the accused could not allowed the court registrar to conclude putting the thirty two count charges to the accused, as they were certain legal issues relating to the charges in question.

Although Counsels representing the accused later canvassed the Bench for bail on behalf of their Clients, but the police prosecutor, Superintendent, Samuel Kamara vehemently opposed to bail.

At this juncture, Magistrate Santigie Bangura stated that he would deliver ruling on the submissions of both the prosecution and the defense on the next adjourned date.

 Unfortunately, when the matter came up yesterday Monday 12th February 2018, no progress was made in respect of the matter.

Magistrate Santigie Bangura adjourned the matter to today Tuesday 13th February 2018.
