His Excellency the President Dr. Julius Maada Bio and Her Excellency the First Lady Dr. Fatima Maada Bio have commissioned the Dr. Fatima Maada Bio Boarding Home for Girls, the first boarding home for girls in Bompeh town, Perri chiefdom, Pujehun district.
“We named the boarding home Dr. Fatima Maada Bio Boarding Home for Girls, in appreciation of the relentless efforts of Her Excellency the First Lady Dr. Fatima Maada Bio in promoting, protecting and supporting women, girls, youth and children across the country,” Dauda Rogers, the Principal, Galliness Perri Secondary School explained.
He revealed that the boarding home accommodates up to 80 girls and was constructed by Hon. Dixon Rogers of Constituency 100.
The First Lady expressed her appreciation to the Honorable Member of Parliament and described the initiative as a laudable one that will help retain more girls in school in that part of the country.
President Bio and First Lady Fatima Maada Bio also Commissioned a Community Centre for the people of Blama Massaquoi, Galliness chiefdom, Pujehun district.
