His Excellency President Dr. Julius Maada Bio, accompanied by his wife, the First Lady Dr. Fatima Maada Bio has presented the Paramount Chief of Sogbini Chiefdom to his people.

First Lady Dr. Fatima Maada Bio told her audience that it is always a pleasure and simple task to present His Excellency to his people as he is well known and respected and loved by his people.

“Your Excellency sir, I have been asked to introduce you but I know I can only present you to speak to your people,” she asserted.

President Dr. Julius Maada Bio expressed appreciation over the decision of the people of Sogbini to choose one of theirs to become Paramount Chief.

“Ofcourse you owe an obligation to the people of Sogbini and the country to provide the necessary quality leadership to make the lives of our people better,” he tells the Paramount Chief.

“On my personal behalf and on behalf of the government, we promised that we will do our own bit to always provide the required support to the Paramount Chiefs,” the president assured.

President Bio vowed to restore the trust, dignity and influence of paramount chiefs in the country.
