The General overseer of the Faith Healing Bible Church worldwide, Pastor Francis A. M. Mambu has turned sod for the construction of a health centre and a church complex at the Congo town community on Saturday at the back of the Congo town school, Freetown.

The construction of the health centre and church facility which will be done by the Faith Healing Bible Church with the service of (JTCE) one of the best building construction companies in the nation is expected to finish within 12 months if the resources are available.

Addressing the community people, stakeholders and church members of the community, Pst. Francis A. M. Mambu quoted from the Holy Bible 1 Chronicles 28: 20, assuring the district head Pastor of Congo town branch Pst. Alfred S. Missalie who is the superintendent of the project, Obioseh J. Obed Cole – the building contractor, members of the church and all stakeholders involved that God will be with them from the start of the building project, until it is done “the Lord’s hand that has started with you will supply all that is needed until its completion,” He prophesied

Pastor Francis A. M. Mambu Said that for far too long it has been the felt need of the community and as a church they saw the need to help the community have its own clinic and a place of worship which is the motivation behind this project, stating “sick people, pregnant women, lactating mothers, will no longer have to be transported to a distance to be treated as the clinic will now serve them.”

He further called on the Congo town community people to see the project as theirs as it will benefit not only them but their generations unborn and that the church is only depending on God to provide the finance needed to start and complete the project.

He thanked councillor Thomas Collins Pearce for fighting a good fight to leave a legacy that will forever be remembered, the chief, the chairladies and all stakeholders involved, for their support towards this project.

Councillor Thomas Collins Pearce thanked God, Pst. Francis A. M. Mambu and the Congo town branch head of Faith Healing Bible Church, Pastor Alfred S. Missalie, that the foundation concrete for the first day of construction of the health facility and a church that they as a community people have been longing for is now a dream come true after a long fight.

Pst. Alfred S. Missalie while turning the sod stated “the health centre and church will be a blessing to generations unborn in this community.”

The chief Pa Alimamy III, Chair ladies, elders and the head of Congo town school SMC thanked God, the Faith Healing Bible Church, Pastor Francis A. M. Mambu and Pst. Alfred S. Missalie for this praiseworthy project and all those who will support the church in its completion.
