The Africa Young Voices (AYV) Television has been awarded ‘Lead Online Television’ of the Year 2022 at the 3rd Edition of the Annual Sierra Technology Awards (STA) 2022 held yesterday 15th December, 2022 at the Sierra Bay Hotel in Aberdeen, Freetown.
Thelia Production is the yearly organisers of the Sierra Leone Mobile and Digital Economy Summit and Expo, and the Annual Sierra Technology Awards (STA).
The Award is to recognise and celebrate individuals, government ministries and agencies, NGOs, corporate and religious organisations employing mobile, digital and technology platforms for their operations and services in Sierra Leone.
As a result of the current economic challenges globally, the Sierra Technology Awards 2022 was this year held in two separate ways – publicly at the Sierra Bay Hotel in Aberdeen, Freetown and privately at some recipients’ offices.
For the 2022 Sierra Tech Awards, the recipients include the National Tourist Board as Lead Social Media Government Agency; Ministry of Basic and Senior Secondary Education as Lead Online Government Ministry; Union Trust Bank as Best Innovative Bank 2022 (Card-less Tech); Guarantee Trust Bank as Best Online Bank 2022; Nigeria High Commission as Lead Social Media High Commission; Flaming Bible Church as Lead Online Church; Sierra Flixx Tech Company as Lead Indigenous Software Company; Triad Engineering Company as Lead Tech Engineering Company and Sierra Leone Insurance Commission as Tech Influencer (Insurance Sector).
This year, the Awards also introduced strategic partners who will be sponsoring different relevant categories in their fields of interest.
