Describing the deputy minister as a dedicated servant for the youth, she said, “I am with the conviction that leadership is innate in him.”

Whilst commending Minister Kallon, the APC honourable said the minister backed his words with unimaginable action as demonstrated through the donation.

On his part, the Deputy Commissioner of the National Youth Commission (NAYCOM) Emerson Kamara said their mandate is to transform the youth into a useful citizens.

“We don’t believe in sharing money but to provide skills training and making our youth to be self-reliant in society,” Commissioner Kamara stated. He encouraged them to farm to create job for themselves and also generate revenue for their livelihood and social well-being.

The minister said the equipment were provided because the community was desperately in need of them to effectively clean their environment.

“I don’t make flimsy promises but to make surprising donation in line with our leadership mantra, which is talk and do,” said Minister Kallon. He encouraged them to be united and support President Julius Maada Bio’s visionary leadership for a sustainable development.

He assured that he will prove some Sierra Leoneans wrong on grounds that youth are destructive elements. He said during their tenure they will prove to the world that Sierra Leonean youths are tools for progress and national development

The Secretary General, Youth Farm community, Felix I. Kabia thanked and appreciated the honorable Deputy Youth Minister for not only providing support but to always open his door to youth groups across the country.

He said, “Hon deputy youth minister sir, the youth farm community will like to extend their sincere thanks and appreciation to you. Words can’t express how we feel. you’ve really showed us today that you are and will always be with the youths of Sierra Leone.” he claimed that since President Julius Maada Bio came to political power, it is only the deputy minister of youth who had visited their community.
