According to Kamara they signed with Liverpool Football Club a four-year extension to the sponsorship agreement, taking into account the bank’s partnership with the club through to the end of the 2022-2023 football season.

“Liverpool is one of the world’s best known football clubs and has over 240 million passionate fans across Standard Chartered core markets in Asia, Africa and the Middle East,” Kamara said; adding that their sponsorship provides the bank with the opportunity to accelerate visibility of their brand.

The partnership between Standard Chartered Bank and Liverpool Football Club according to Kamara will continue to provide valuable support to the charitable initiatives disclosing that it is close to their heart and has helped them to further engage with their clients and staffs as well as with LFC fans.

“It’s good when your Standard Chartered Visa Debit Card can take you to Anfield and the LFC Campaign is our unique way of making exciting by giving our esteemed Visa debit card holders more value for money,” he said.

In her presentation Head of Corporate Affairs Brand and Marketing Kumba Ngongou said LFC is celebrating its 125 anniversary and they are in high spirit because they have achieved a phenomenal milestone full of significance for the club and as partners they are in the celebration together.

Over 1,000 branded items according to Ngongou will be given out and disclosed that customers with Standard Chartered Visa Debit Card should deposit and maintain 6 million Leones in their account monthly.

“New clients should open a Standard Chartered Bank account with a minimum balance of 3 million Leones,” she said; adding that they want customers to experience LFC and SC giving to them what they desire.
